[19 Togusa's House]

(Batou's dog comes out, and runs towards Batou. He stoops and picks him up.)

Togusa: "She showed up on that boat, didn't she? Your guardian angel. Clamming up again, eh? Why? You think I'd report you?"

"I'll pick you up at 8:00. I owe you for looking after him."

"Why don't you come in?"

"Hanging out with someone else's family just isn't my thing."

"Papa! My present, my present!"

"I remembered, see?"
